About the Music

"MUSIC IS humanity's most evolved form of expression and communication. Music includes language, our physical senses, and our sense of meaning. When integrated by music, these create a synergetic, emergent quality that captures, communicates and evokes feeling in such a way that ordinary language is ultimately transcended and becomes an experience of music's message. Music's reason, feeling and emotion, and spirit are communicated beyond mind to mind, they are communicated in the depth of the soul. When that music seeks to communicate a sense of the Sacred and Holy, the possibility is increased exponentially for us to catch some glimpse of the Unknowable Divine in a moment of grace--for both performers as the instrument and audience as its receiver.

This is the work and purpose of Aurora Music. Through performance and recordings, Aurora Music communicates the message that it is our responsibility to bring about a better future and a better world for all of humanity. It is up to us to acknowledge all that is good and holy, and to live without judgement, but with compassion, love, understanding and stewardship for all of God's creation, from the natural world which sustains us to those people who are hungry, marginalized, oppressed and suffering.
