Like
most classically-trained tenors, Patrick Stalinski can list
many of the master works among his repertoire. From 1996-1998,
he performed various works including J.S. Bach's Cantata 61
and Schubert's Mass in G to audiences in Detroit and Windsor,
Ontario, as well as selected solo features at historic Fort
Street Presbyterian Church in Detroit. In the early 1980s,
he spent two seasons touring with Michigan Opera Theatre's
Opera-In-Residence program, but he says his passion has always
been sacred music.
In
July, 1999, Patrick surprised and moved an Ohio audience by
performing his own arrangements publicly for the first time,
again demonstrating his ability to inspire and touch hearts
outside of classical and sacred genres.
